St Andrew's Club Continues to Thrive in Era of Unprecedented Cuts to Youth Services

12 Apr 2018

This article from the BBC demonstrates the extent of devastating cuts to youth services in London. Over the last seven years, at least £39m has been cut, and 81 youth clubs and council youth services have been forced to closed their doors.

That St Andrew's Club still manages to thrive in this environment is all thanks to our dedicated youth workers and generous supporters. Without you we would not be able to continue providing vital services to help our c.700 members develop educational, socially and personally.

A former member of St Andrew's Club recently commented "I keep watching the news and telling my kids how lucky we were to have 'The Andrews'. Always something to do but most importantly youth workers who listened to us and educated us. We could discuss anything with them and not feel embarrassed. We need clubs like these in the heart of every community".
