HRH Prince Philip opening the Club's current premises in 1984
HRH The Duke of Edinburgh has been visiting the Boys & Girls Clubs, now known as London Youth clubs, for the last 69 years and as he said in the Evening Standard on 30th June 2016, "I understand the value in it. We need to educate people from the very start."
The prince visited St Andrew's Club in 1955 and 1984 when we moved into our current building in Old Pye Street, Westminster.

In his visit to other youth centres last week, Prince Philip said: "Those of you who have been supporting the clubs, keep giving it. Those of you who are running the clubs, keep doing it."
We couldn't agree more. St Andrew's Club is a priceless community asset helping young people build self-confidence, respect for themselves and for others, whilst giving these young people vital skills and opportunities to build a positive sense of citizenship.
