Hindleap Adventure 2024

21 Nov 2024

During the October Half Term St Andrew’s took over 30  young people on a 5-day trip to Hindleap Warren Adventure Centre. Members got to enjoy exciting activities such as tree climbing, archery, axe throwing, abseiling, tower climbing, overcoming muddy obstacle courses and much much more. St Andrew’s annual trip to Hindleap Warren is always a highlight of the year for the young people who attend, providing a truly unique and exceptional experience that they might have missed out on without the support of the Club.

The Hindleap Warren residential pushes young people out of their comfort zone, supporting their development and building their independence. The trip helps members learn key skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving helps to build resilience, perseverance providing a safe space to make friends and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with their peers.

100% of young people said the trip had improved their confidence. 100% said they had learned something new or took part in a new physical activity and 100% of parents said they would happily send their child on another residential with St Andrew's.
